Very busy tonight despite the Covid-19 escalation friendly, attentive staff. The Christmas menu was nice and cooked well. It's good pub food at a reasonable price. We called back mid January with large group of friends and everyone loved their choices. I especially loved the Singapore noodle dish. We'll definitely be going back.
Always have lovely food here, great portions and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice atmosphere with reasonable priced dishes we love it here! The Blakeys x
Spend Christmas eve here with family and friends had a great meal, £25 for 3 courses. Everything that came out was hot and came out together, considering the place was really busy,so well done to all the staff, you where great. Great atmosphere, bye the way. Thanks again.

Visited here on 29th December. It was very busy but managed to find a table for my wife and I. The young waiter was very helpful and took our drink order immediately. When he brought our drinks, a very nice pint of Flat Cap. He took our food order. We both had Hunters Chicken. With proper chips, coleslaw, corn on the cob and onion rings. It was very nice. There was not too much bbq sauce, and plenty of cheese on the chicken. I love the onion rings. They were very crispy, but the onion was still soft inside. Thank you.
Lively busy pub when we went, visiting from Cornwall so can't say anymore as we only had a drink over a couple of nights. Enjoyed the atmosphere.
Best avoided The landlord has an absolutely disgusting attitude and thinks nothing of making rude and personal judgemental remarks towards customers. For some reason he thinks his opinions about peoples appearance so important that he just has to comment very unkindly
Went for a meal this afternoon with the mrs . Honestly couldn’t fault it , food was very nice and the staff were attentive and pleasant . We recently moved around the corner, so we will definitely be in here more often . Recommend!
Had chicken from the griddle with hand cut chips and a pepper sauce. Delicious! Service excellent as usual.
Sorry couldn't even get to door with queue! Obviously you need to book but we only wanted a chat and a drink! Don't arrive on a Sunday without pre booking! Changed your 5 stars now as we will be back to try again I only put 1 star due to not getting in to sample the delights
