I have been to lots of farm shops and this was pretty ordinary so I bought a lot less than usual. One thing I did buy was a pumpkin, not for halloween but to make pumpkin soup. Sadly, it was a bit young and didn't have the deep flavour that I liked despite the shop keeper saying it was suitable for cooking. As we had just had afternoon tea at the nearby Totworth Hotel, we did not eat at the cafe adjacent to the farm shop. Agree that the views from the cafe are lovely.

Great variety of meats and produce. The cafe offers a good specials menu and the variety of cakes on offer are excellent.

We went to The Farmer's Table for Sunday lunch, as we couldn't get into the Hotel nearby for Carvery. I'm glad we booked a table as it was a busy lunch session. The place has fantastic views over the glorious Gloucestershire countryside. I had the Sunday roast. The meat and the vegetables tasted good and seemed to be freshly cooked. The service is ok, I guess that the young staff were very overwhelmed with the number of customers. I will probably try it for afternoon tea one day.

The cafe is over priced, near £8 for one baked potato with beans! The farm shop is what you'd expect, and good quality.
