The staff are top notch - they have a very professional conduct, whilst maintaining their natural personalities. The menu has a nice variety that caters for all dietary requirements. The quality of the food is amazing value for money too, averaging around £12.50 for mains. The pub has a lovely welcoming vibe too - not too loud, but not too quiet either. Give it a go, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The new landlords have made this cute Lemsford pub more inviting again. The lighter decor has brightened it up. The food was good but a bit overpriced for pub restaurant. Yes we will keep going but not eat as often, unless there are some offers on.

Very pleasant pub set in a very pretty village. We saw red kites buzzards and grey herons while enjoying a cider.

Great pub and friendly atmosphere. Had Sunday lunch which was fine for the price. Would quite happily go again. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Historic & Traditional 18th century village pub in Lemsford. The earliest known record dates the sun inn as an ale house in 1717; this will coincide with the brocket estate from the mid 1700's. My personal score is 9/10.
