The gent who served us was so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us despite us needing space for a new born and my grandmother's wheelchair So we had to move the place about a bit! Only downfall which isn't the restaurants fault was allowing children to run around the restaurant when staff were serving food as could be dangerous. All in all food and staff were great :)

We visited on Mother's Day - one of the busiest days of the year, so we anticipated some delay between ordering and receiving our food. We, however, did not anticipate the wait time to be over an hour. When bringing this up to the very friendly and pleasant wait staff, they apologised profusely an explained there had been a mix up, and the food would be free, and a five minute wait away. The pasta had clearly been sitting for a while as it was not as hot as it should've been - but we didn't want to risk waiting another hour for a new one. Again, we mentioned this to the staff and they offered a fresh dish. Overall the food was delicious and the wait staff are exemplary.

Lovely waitress however not on the ball with regards customer orders so we waited an hour and a half before mains were served.....after complaining. Manager stated reason was because restaurant was so busy however as quite a few tables who sat down after us had finished their meal before ours came to the table we firmly believe we were forgotten about. Having stated we were very short of time, we also waited over 15minutes for bill and had to make a fuss for them to bring over payment terminal. Not somewhere I will go again.

Daniel our server was fantastic. Attentive, friendly and patient. We were a party of 6 with three youths and Daniel's warm greeting set the tone for the evening. The food was spot on. Calamari, tender with just the right amount of batter. And the sauce. Wow! Tomato and mozzarella salad, simply done and tasty. The pizzas were perfect. The Callabrase was out of this world. With all that, the live music put the evening over the top! Acoustic guitarist, vocalist, Simon Cragg provided the perfect background for a delicious dinner and conversation with good friends. Well done Pizza Express WGC!
