Just had a fantastic lunch. Tastiest meal we've had for ages . Good value for good quality. Plus the beer is excellent.

Disastrous and disappointing. We went here yesterday for a birthday lunch. All our meals had been prebooked as there were 20 of us. We arrived at 12 for 12.30 but didn't get any food till after 2. Food was lacklustre, mediocre or downright horrid depending on what you ordered. My sausage and mash was so salty it was inedible. The staff were very polite and did give us a very substantial discount but my mum was very disappointed that her birthday has been spoiled. Won't be returning.

A nice variety of beers and cider , pop in if your passing ,don't make a special trip
