Disappointed. ...after a Sunday afternoon drink watching some seriously amazing looking roast dinners being served we popped in for lunch on a Thursday. (07/03/18) Drinks fine....food was ridiculously slow (an hour from ordering and only one table served in between/not particularly busy) ...and unfortunately not very good. Steak baguette. ..over cooked, chewy, poor quality meat. Traditional burger ok not amazing. Also have slight problem with lady behind bar failing to wash her hands after stroking a dog that was lounging in the floor. Not as good as anticipated . ..would not return for lunch during the week.

Charming location alongside a stream over a small bridge. Friendly welcoming staff. Four well known ales. Unfortunately popular with families.

A great little pub. Very friendly manager, staff and punters. Brilliant in the summer. Great food too.

Nice atmosphere, good food, terrible range of cider though. Really enjoy visiting however.
