Good pint and nice refurb, don’t like the rip off nuts though. Normal peanuts in bags will do rather than the fancy jar and big price tag. Other than that quite pleasant

This is a lovely pub, bigger than you think, with more dining seating down some stairs. The food was really tasty, well cooked and not so much of it that you are overwhelmed. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the night we were there there was a really good singer/guitar player playing in the bar area. All in all it was an excellent night.

Recently refurbished historic pub. Parking available in front. There is a nice garden with seating with views across the Medway valley. The food we ordered was good, came quite quickly and not over priced. The beer selection wasn't bad but fairly standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice to see a lot of the historic features have been kept.

We popped in here for lunch after a nice jaunt along the river at Teston Country Park with the dog. This pub is dog friendly which is ideal for where it is. Nice meal, nice cosy decor and lovely surroundings.

Can recommend this pub, very pleasant food reasonably priced. Clean and well run enjoy.
