Really great pub. The best in kings heath! Great food, amazing service shout out to Matt such a friendly guy, would give 6/5 if I could. Plenty of seating inside and a nice outside area as well. Also great selection of largers, ales and ciders on tap.Food: 5/5
Went for the Refreshed event here. Watched the England Football game first. Brilliant atmosphere, reasonably priced drinks and lovely staff. Will be hoping to visit again soon. We want to go to the Reggae night on a Monday as soon as we get chance. And always return for the Refreshed eventService: 4/5
Great pub, great atmosphere and top tier Guinness when it's in the right glass. Marigold the best of the bunch by far.Food: 4/5
Kings Heath Quirky Comfort I love the style of the pubs in Moseley Village. The Station, located on its border carries the baton of beautiful quirky decor. Where else can you find the bust of a pink moose hung on the wall of a public house? At its heart The Station is a good old fashioned Brummie pub. The garden out back is accommodating, bright and cheerful. It was there I met a regular who swore that the Sunday Roast was out of this world. I ordered the Nut Roast. I mentioned I am a vegan. The staff accommodated and made amendments to the vegetarian offering. It was delivered up quickly. Given the extremely high standards set by eateries in Kings Heath, I was expecting THE BEST. Any other town, I would have been happy. Having visited Upstairs at Grace & James for their Sunday offering. The Stations Sunday Roast lacked the finer details to put a smile on my face. The Station offer a Vegan Dessert, the sweet Banoffee Waffle, recommended if you have a sweet tooth. All in, good value for money. Staff are salt of the earth. The period pub is beautiful. A great meeting place.
Sunday roast beef. Tuff& very chewy. Burnt roast potatoes. Tasteless Yorkshire pudding. Gravy watery & tasteless. Veg was ok. Just don't be to shy on the veg. Over all wouldn't go back. Or recommend it to family or friends.. And the ladies toilet needs a good clean..Food: 1/5
We visited for a Sunday roast as we had been told they were very good. The food was wonderful, lovely roast dinner. We will be returning. It was also nice to sit out the back in the covered garden to finish our drinks.
Great food, beer and friendly helpful staff. Night was topped off with listening to More Than Blue. Five piece band playing classics such as In a broken Dream, Burlesque, Lido Shuffle us original material too.Recommended dishesFish Finger Sandwiches
Came to support a friends DJ night, everything was perfect and the smoking area was greatly set out Food: 5/5
Great traditional pub with great friendly, welcoming staff. A Very large Beer Garden, with cocktail bar and wall mounted TVs was a big suprise. It Also has a Very good function room at the rear of the pub that probably holds about 90-100 people. It has a fantastic choice of beers, ciders and wines. Bar snacks and cobs were also available. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed due to refurbishment, so no hot food available at this time. Loved this pub. Did I mention the staff were great! Thank you for making us feel welcome in your pub. We Look forward to retuning again soon. Many thanks.
Superb music pub!!. attracting a great crowd of people. can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there.Service: 5/5
