Food on takeaway was awful - curries are thin and without flavour, garlic naan breads are doughy. Overall very bland food.
A nice friendly warm welcome at this real ale pub. Sample of a lovely pint of HPA. 4 of 5 rooms with 1 outside, not sure how many got a bit lost. Would recommend for Real Ale lovers and good food
Privately owned traditional pub. Great atmosphere and lovely people. They have great live music nights and beer festivals. The food Indian cuisine is also fantastic. During lockdown restrictions they are doing take away.
Really good food friendly staff worth a visit as is The clock further along the path .
Loved this place, cant fault it. Great beer and food, Sports on inside and out, lovely beer garden, and above all really friendly staff and landlord.

The atmosphere and the hospitality we receive, as well as the food just gets better!! We love it here and I introduced family and friends last Saturday and they too intend going back. Keep the good work up!!!
A real find don't be put off by the exterior. Beautiful old fashioned interior with real open fires. Nice and snug on a wet cold February day. Oh and the beer is really well kept.
Great place with friendly staff and customers made to feel welcome. Didn't try the food on this occasion but the smell of the cooking was fantastic just wish we hadn't eaten before we went! Definitely worth a visit.
A bit of a hidden gem, great curry and a old-school decor which gives the place a really warm atmosphere. Decent games room upstairs too.
