I can't believe I haven't been here before. Proper old school pub with a lovely vibe excellent service and great beer & food. They do loads of craft beers and even serve tasting trays of 3 1/3 pints so you could try a variety of beers instead of getting a pint each. Only had the wings but they were cheap wings Wednesday and banging. Love them and will come back sometime this week to have more of their offerings
Always came here for evening gig, music and for drinks and I've always liked the atmosphere and the people working here! Sunday we tried Brum mi Sunday roast and it was so tasty! Just what I wanted thanks guys for the amazing food and the stunning service! 5 stars Food: 5/5
First time here and I can honestly say I was IMPRESSED. Exceptional service from friendly staff, that didn't view us as a way to upsell. Wide range f draft beers, ales and spirits to choose from, especially the IPA ... With samples provided of one's I was unsure of. Ordering was simple, with a decent range of dishes to choose from. The food arrived hot and in a timely manner and the waitress even rectified an easy mistake by replacing with a whole new dish. Great seating area outside, perfect for a sunny day, and lots of seating inside too. Will definitely visit again.
It is a really good, cozy and friendly place. Stage upstairs not that big but sound beautiful when you play. Sadly they don't have sheet stand but the staff are kind, smiling and sound guy was amazing. Only thing was bad about that me botching on the stage Food: 5/5
Sunday roast vegetarian I must say that this vegetarian Sunday roast was one of the best ones I’ve ever had, and I had many. Portions are more than enough. Flavours are amazing and work very well together. Roast potatoes were perfect and cooked so well. Staff were very nice and helpful as well. Would definitely recommend.
Fantastic bar and grill type pub! I recommend the Banh Mi BBQ chicken sandwich with seasonal fries, it’s a tasty Vietnamese sandwich, burns your mouth off but it’s so tasty! Great selection of craft beers on tap too for the beer enthusiasts, and great friendly service.
Went there to try out Brum Mi and the food was very tasty. Loved the hearty portion size and the high quality ingredients. Both the pork and the beef were succulent and even the pickled veggies were nom. We were also pleasantly surprised by the cauliflower bites coated in a sticky sweet sauce. As a die hard salt and pepper tofu lover, these cauliflower bites would give the beloved tofu a run for its money. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The only downside was that we were driving so couldn’t sample the broad selection of beer there. We definitely would be returning and look forward to having a couple of pints alongside.
Great gig venue upstairs. Staff really friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere and there's always been loo roll in the ladies when I've visited.Service: 5/5
Great pub fun by chance, good selection of beers and wines upstairs in this night sat. A band seemed to be a very popular pubFood: 5/5
The Sunday roast was the best I've had in a very long time. The cauliflower cheese with miso is an absolute must! All the staff were great! Friendly and helpful, especially when helping to choose a beer....so many choices!! I was pleased with the recommendation though. It is already on my list of places to go again when I'm next in Brum....I can't wait!!
