A great no nonsense local No food but good selection of well kept beer. There are several screens around that always appear to be showing football which is not to everyone's taste. They have a regular quiz and live music. There is even a little garden out back. All in all a great little boozer.
Back street boozer of a kind that is increasingly hard to find. Excellent range about 6 of well kept real ales, all reasonably priced. Worth seeking out if you are a real ale lover. Dog friendly as well. Fishersgate station is the closest, although only a short walk from Portslade station.
Nice old fashioned pub off the beaten track but great live music lineup, lovely staff looked after us found us seats for the band, two rooms, big screen for the footy, will come again Great band last night good atmosphere, let's keep our pubs going, they keep us going!

It's lost some character since it changed hands but it's still a good community CAMRA pub.
Went and saw a band called Undercover there the other night & it was amazing... Epic band, very happy & polite staff, the locals were very welcoming... highly recommend for a local & entertainment...
