Honestly too bad there are only 4 rooms. The staff know how to do hospitality. The room was adorable, some sustainable amenities like the refillable soaps and cleaners, coffee mugs and filtered water. Bed was really comfy with great sheets. Great location and super friendly and helpful staff. Very good value Will recommend to friends coming to Brighton.
We remembered this pub when it was the Foragers, always had a lovely time and hadn’t been back since, but we will definitely be back very soon. The staff were so welcoming, a lovely atmosphere for a cold Monday lunchtime, great music, an excellent choice of non alcohol beverages…other Brighton pubs take note!!! for those that still love pubs but want an adult alternative to alcohol to drink, and wonderful food. Highly recommend the Tuscan Fish Stew and the Tiger Prawn and Clam Linguine. We had to wait a bit later for the fish dishes as the fresh fish delivery was late but it was so worth it. Thank you my husband had a lovely birthday lunch
Lovely room, really comfortable, clean with extra touches. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Pub has nice atmosphere and an outside area. Ate here one evening food was lovely, great music too. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5
Visited here Boxing Day and New Years Day...welcome very inviting...just had drinks first time however today had food as well...we had forgotten what day it was so thought we would have a burger...doh...it was Sunday...the lovely lady that was serving food suggested having a few side dishes... rather than a full roast..amazing....had chicken and cheese croquettes....the most amazing broccoli and cauliflower cheese with pigs in blankets...a proper full size wild boar sausage with bacon x3...I have had the first festive dinner today....thanks all...sorry no photos...fully focused on food and drink. Testament to the pub...it was so busy...to me a good sign in these difficult times....
The room was small but clean. The bed was comfy. The staff were really friendly and the food in the pub was lovely Only couple of issues:- 1 the sink tap in the shower room was just trickling out. 2 the stairwell and outer corridor was rather slippery I was told about this, thankfully 3 No Tea Bags
Had a roast here on Sunday and it was fantastic. The staff were very accommodating in the run up even though our group size was very large and numbers kept going up and down. The food was delicious and the staff very friendly, a really fun atmosphere in the pub too highly recommended!
Great pub and location for access to the beach or train stations. Great range of beers and fabulous menu. The Tuscan seafood stew is amazing. Room small but cosy with everything you need. Beats any chain hotel! Would certainly use again if in the area.Rooms: 4/5
Loved my stay at the Stirling Arms Pub. I was travelling for work and stupidly booked the wrong date, luckily they had a room available and the friendly staff and manager helped me. The room and bathroom were very clean and designed very well. Busy pub downstairs but when in your room it was very quiet and didn't disturb my night. I was very comfortable in my room, would certainly recommend.
Myself and my partner stayed at the Stirling Saturday night 15th Oct. This place is very cool!!! The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable, We ordered food down at the bar after checking in which was delicious!! Next time we come to Brighton to visit my son's we will be checking into the Stirling again for sure.
Decent local pub, busy and enjoyable on a Friday night when I tend to go. Beer is pricey but that's par for the course these days, otherwise decent all round. Cheers!Service: 5/5
