Lovely ambiance and food was nice, the staff were also lovely and very helpful. They are dog friendly and are obeying all COVID restrictions. The only downsides were that the pasta and burger dishes could do with a little more salt and the portions were a bit on the big side. Otherwise a lovely pub and would recommend!

By faaaaar the best pub in Brighton and Hove. Food is 10/10, always friendly atmosphere and great service, with the nicest landlord you'll ever meet.
Great experience, something for everyone on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed my vegan burger and fries. Would definitely return.

Charming pub tucked away near Hove Seafront. Service was friendly and quick while the food was nothing less than delicious and well presented. Ranks highly for me, definitely worth another visit!

Popped into The better half after hearing a lot about their food and atmosphere. We went for a mid-week Eat out to help out meal and were not disappointed! The staff were super friendly, the decor is perfect and the food was incredible. Highly recommend to anyone considering for food or a nice pub for a drink.
Good menu, good drink selection & lovely staff.
