This is an old artdeco cinema originally an old Odeon with art deco features still in place, great value for money
Great cinema experience. Like stepping back in time for us grown ups taking our children to see Peter Rabbit 2. Very personal service, so different to the local "modern" alternative. Highly recommend it as a reasonably priced day out.
I share a sentimental value towards this cinema but regardless there’s awesome prices for food/drink & film
Went recently to see Dream Horse. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Also the staff were lovely and accommodatingnwith snacks and drinks. Cinema clean and comfortable. Also £5 entry was awesome. Definitely ncoming again. Thank you for a great night x
The old cinema recently reopened and back in business. This is still something of a work in progress and needs and deserves local support but progress so far has been great. Film availability is good, numerous showings with timings on the Stafford Cinema Facebook pages. Prices are excellent, admission, popcorn, sweets and drinks at affordable prices. The screens are well heated, first time in years I have been in there during the winter and been warm enough. Look forward to seeing how this progresses and hope it gets the support it deserves.
Owner's attitude is disgusting, i rang to ask if we could bring out own confectionary as we have it in the house anyway. he said i could possibly get refused entry. i responded with all main stream cinemas allow you to bring your own, he staryed shouting, DO WHAT YOU WANT MATE IF YOU WANT TO BE THAT SCROUNGY. i only asked a simple question. full on rude.
The staff were really friendly and welcoming but the reason for the 2 stars is to reflect the temperature of the cinema the whole way though the film. It was freezing. It was a child's film Goosebumps and we all sat with our coats and scarves throughout the whole film and were still cold!!
Great cinema. Can’t really complain to be honest. I came here last year in December and the heating was down. But yet I didn’t mind I had my nice warm scarf and coat on so heating or not I still got to watch my movie on a big screen with great sound : so I’m very happy now it’s been revamped and open again, plus great prices :
Nothing wrong with. Its fine. They got popcorn all the same sweets as any other cinema, over 3 screens and it looks nice. Screens are of good quality and layout also seats are comfy.
Went as part of a group to see military wives. The staff there were lovely and it was a very nostalgic visit reminding me of the many times I visited growing up. For £5 for a saturday afternoon showing it's great value for money and I think its admirable that the current staff are working so hard to keep it running. The boiler was broken donit was a little chilly, but honestly, it didnt matter one bit, we still enjoyed our visit.
