I went to a kpop live on 17 Tuesday February and it was absolutely amazing!!! The girls were gorgeous and so sweet and the interactions were lovely. I RECOMMEND TO DO ANOTHER THIS YR Christmas or whenever MAYBE OR NEXT YEAR AND WHEN THEIR PERFORMING PUT ON THE EXACT MV AND THEN WHEN IT COMES TO THE BREAK YOU SHOULD JUST PUT PICTURES OF DIFFERENT BANDS AND SINGERS
Fabulous theatre. Parking was easy in over spill bus carpark. 2 min walk. Went to the small theatre. Excellent production of A Shoddy Christmas Carol. Great small space, so good views from any seat. Good leg room.
We’ve been a few times to the Garrick and to be honest, if you’ve never been, you don’t know what you’re missing.nThe ‘History of Rock’ was a fantastic night and the group and singers did a fantastic job of taking you through the history of rock during its finest period, the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Set out in two sessions with a refreshment break between it is a joy to behold.nMoving onto this year and we decided to try the experience again, this time for, the ‘History of Soul’ a strange combination I know but if your motivational teenage years were the seventies, you’ll understand.nSoul from the 60’s and 70’s was to be honest, another great night that brought back great memories from what is, if I’m honest, musics finest period, I’m biased but hey ho.nAgain a great cast put on what was a fine rendition of some of soul’s greatest hits, the lads and lasses set up was great and on the occasions they combined, more so.nIf you like either, or indeed like most of us from the period, both, give it a try, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
My wife and I had not been to the theatre in quite some time. We thought it would be nice to go again and so we went to see The Lion in Winter at the Garrick. We had a fantastic time, the performance was excellent. The Garrick is really well situated with parking very close by. The facilities were excellent and the staff very friendly. We will be going again to see something else hopefully quite soon.
We went to see the pantomime, Cinderella, mid morning today and we were blown away. The costumes, the stage, the wonderful flying coach and horse and an outstanding performance. We were at the signed performance and my gosh our interpretor was absolutely fantastic.nOur Cinderella had only that morning replaced the original and she smashed it. The humour and audience participation was wonderful and as you would expect the ugly sisters gave a hilarious performance and the change in their costumes were unbelievable. Not something you'd expect to see on the cat walk though!!!nThank you so much for making our visit so memorable.nThe Garrick staff were also amazing, friendly, helpful and were very on hand.nPlease keep up the good work and making people happy.nWe will definitely revisit again soon.
