This place is full of charm and character! Tonnes of parking and walkable from the Premier Inn in which I was staying. The cinema looks incredibly dated but that's part of its charm! It reminds me of being a child in the late 80s/early 90s. The standard seats are not comfortable for long viewings over 2 and a bit hours but for 90 minute films they are fine.
Quick service, easy to park and lots of options for viewing movies even with XLR Xtra Leg Room Seating seats. Staff were polite and as usual it wasn't too busy on a Saturday morning.
I love this place so much. My nostalgia came back as soon as I entered. Its so 90s. I saw Spice World at a showcase, all the Harry Potters, and big Hollywood blockbusters. Its an institution! We went to see Godzilla this time and loved it! I love how it was planned to house hundreds of people and is now more like a ghost town haha! We will always keep coming! Love it!
Its just somewhere ive grew up over the years plus theses loads of space inside and outside not cramped and small like some of other cinemas .
Well placed cinema which has a number of screens and great facilities. Huge car park ending over into the Casino. Not far away from M5 Jnc 11.
Went on Saturday. Very empty at about midday with plenty of parking available, so access is fairly easy. This location boasts a spaceful lobby area and all of the standard snacks and sweets that you would expect of a cinema. Staff were very polite and service was fast. Has a couple arcade machines in the lobby featuring some more dated titles. Overall great cinema with character
The place has been empty the past couple of times we've been there it's not nearly as full as it used to be before the light opened. It's still a good cinema though it needs upgrading in order to compete with the newer cinema's. We've took the kids there a few times as there are no steps for them to fall down when they can't sit still and want to move about and swap seats.
Plenty of parking and easy to get to. Remember coming here years ago when it first opened and can't really fault anything. We were in screen 4 so all standard seating meaning no cup holder : but apart from that good experience. Refreshments expensive but no more than expected. Booked online with no problems and only complaint would have been that for a family ticket not all families have 2 adults and 2 children under 16 so pricing for group would have been good. Worth a visit
I was a regular customer prior to lockdown and I've been tonight to see a film. Upon arrival, coming through doors, I was greeted by Sarah, one of the cinema staff, wearing a visor and mask, everything was explained to me the changes to keep everyone safe during these times. I felt safe, customer service is excellent as usual and I definitely missed coming to the cinema!!!!!
Good customer service. Offered information about other showing times as the one I had gone to watch was going to end way later than I expected. Clean cinema halls with comfortable seating. Only bugbear is that there are no cup holders so drinks need to go on the floor or held in hands which isn't great if you've got a hot drink.
