Amazing customer service, the young lad could not do enough for the three of us. He even moved a chair for me and my friend as I have a bad leg. All the team were so lovely. Joking with us. What an amazing experience we had. So professional. I have worked in management, and a customer service manager. There thought fulness, and caring attitude went a long way. Fabulous ambassadors for the Empire cinemas in Sutton coldfield. Well done. And thank you. Old school service. High street stores should take a leaf out of your book. No wonder there is no high street. 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you so much. We so enjoyed the film as well.
It's a small venue as cinemas go but being local, it was enough. I'd go back. The seat was comfy enough for over 2 hours of the film and I have physical problems.
I dont have a bad thing to say about this cinema. The staff are absolutely amazing, so lovely and welcoming. Plus they make the effort to remember you and talk to you about the films too. For a small town cinema it offers alot and I hope that people make a damn effort to support this cinema!
Empire Cinemas is a nice little cinema, a little old fashioned, but that just adds to the experience. Prices are good value, and lots of choices for drinks and snacks. Both times I've visited I've always been in screen 2, so can't comment on all screens. Seats are a little dated, but the screens are always clean and tidy, and you aren't sat on top of one another. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Just be mindful of the pay and display car park that you need to use, as you can soon run out of time when watching a film.
The staff are really nice and friendly which is the only good thing about this cinema unfortunately. The actual cinema theatre was horrible, there were stains on the curtains by the screen and not just small stains it was all over the curtains, there were broken chairs, the screen was very small in comparison to normal cinema screens but the worst part was the floor. It was so sticky my foot was sticking to it constantl, we went to seats all over and the floor was sticky everywhere. The chairs also didn't have cup holders which was why I think the floor was so sticky. The sad thing is it was the same price as bigger cinemas but hopefully they put some money down for cleaning as it would be a great cinema if the cinema was cleaned thoroughly and the chairs got fixed with cup holders. Would I visit again though, definitely if it was cleaned thoroughly.
Went this evening with our elderly mother in a wheelchair. This was the first time for us needing wheelchair access. There is no obvious easy way in through the main front doors but the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Even though there were only a couple of staff in the foyer one immediately opened up the fully accessible side entrance and made sure we were quickly inside and showed us to the correct screen. Overall, very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff.
Not the place. The difficulty of trying to get showing times! Sutton Empire not on list of cinemas! Even Book Now led to a list of new cinemas that didn't include Sutton Empire!! Completely IMPOSSIBLE to book tickets!
Nice comfortable cinema. Been several times and never really had any issues. Some screens are a bit better and cleaner than some but nothing to really fret about as I've never experienced awful conditions. Ladies restroom can be a bit cold though : Overall it's a pretty decent cinema and will recommend
Good value for seeing a movie with the children. £1.50 per person and the children loved the show. Cinema hasn't changed much over the years but is a little more personal and friendly than the big multiplexes. The only down side is the seats aren't as comfy!
It's not the best but it has character and has been my local cinema all my life. The seats were a bit firm in the main screen for a long film like the Joker me and the wife did fidget to get comfy. But will keep going as do our kids I like it here.
