This pub has everything right in my opinion. Good atmosphere with separate dining and drinking areas. Superb food at reasonable prices, good beer selection which is well looked after and friendly service too...whats not to like!

Excellent food, genuinely friendly service! It's been at least a couple of years since my wife and I last visited The Squirrel and we certainly won't be waiting too long before going back again. We decided to drop in without a reservation or any clue what the food or service was like. We were utterly impressed to say the least! My wife had the burger and I went for the monkfish. Our food arrived promptly, was piping hot and delicious.

A brilliant pub with very friendly staff, amazing food and a lovely ambiance. I would very highly recommend this pub and think it should have 5 Michelin star. Ate there on Christmas Day and without a word of a lie it was the best meal I had had anywhere last year. Went again last week and I can honestly say that I doubt that any restaurant &/ hotel will come close! If I could I would give it 10 stars.

Very good service, friendly and helpful staff. Good menu with good quality food at respectable prices. Pub has a very nice welcoming atmosphere.

Excellent - We booked the Conservatory for a large family party and can not fault the service. The place is beautiful, really conveniently located, right by the A3 but really quiet and unspoilt. We spent the whole afternoon with the kids, playing in the garden and couldn't hear or see the road. The service, as I say was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the staff are really friendly. We arrived late and various members of our party were even later due to traffic coming out of London, but they managed to get all the right food out, seamlessly and it was all beautifully cooked. We ended up being a party of 18 and everything was spot on. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend The Squirrel to anyone looking for a lovely, genuine British Country pub with a friendly atmosphere and a great garden with a large play area.
