Busy place. Michelle is an absolute star and the food is first class. In particular, the succulence of the egg fried rice having been in the microwave and the BBQ spare ribs that weren't drowned in sauce but had a crispy spine. Go Michelle.
Pretty good. Had crispy duck, beef in black bean sauce and chicken with cashew nuts plus rice. Food was good didn’t taste overly done with salt or MSG and very friendly service.
There are VERY FEW places to eat in Godalming that dont make you ill or break your wallet. This is one of those rare finds that is a must have. Fresh, no msg, affordable. I have an extremely sensitive stomach and get ill from most food outdoors. This makes my tummy happy :
I wonder if some of these reviewers are talking about the same place! Yes the staff are lovely but the food is awful! The meat tough and or dry and the sauces pretty bland and lacking any depth of flavour. The prices are low but in this case you get what you pay for! There is definitely a gap for a good Chinese restaurant/takeaway in Godalming.
Used to really enjoy eating from here a few years ago but not of late. The first time about a month ago I ended up with tummy upset put down to tummy bug. Ate from here again last night and 4 of us have tummy upset. Not just a coincidence. Never again.
Very Delicious Chinese Dinner Chicken with Pineapple Sweet and Sour King Prawn Balls Crunchy Beef Spicy Strips Fried seaweed spinach Fried Samosas Great to have such a nice takeaway in Godalming Village Center.
This is by far the best Chinese around and has been consistently good over the many years we have visited. The staff are super friendly especially the lovely Michelle. Service speedy, prices great and dishes all fresh and delicious.
I love the food and the people are friendly every time you go in. They are a nice family and I would definitely recommend their food as it doesn't taste cheap or burned like some other places. Plus they do custom orders too all you have to do is ask.
Not very nice at all curry had water initnot drained
