Delicious food every visit!! Mouthwatering and moreish. I love the set lunch menu and have had a takeaway when I didn't have time to sit in. Each meal made my taste buds and tummy happy - from the heat of the curry to the heartiness of the traditional pork soup to the sweetness of the pork skewers.
Ordered two green thai curry's and they were swimming in oil and completely inedible. There was so much oil that we couldn't even mix it in with the rest of the sauce, it just sat on the top 2cm deep. I called the restaurant and they said it was coconut oil. We cook with this at home all the time and it is not yellow and even if it was who wants to eat spoon fulls of it before they get to the actual dish! The manager did not offer any kind of refund and said he would mention it to the chef....
Delicious food, friendly staff and good value. I had a chicken dish with cashews and veg spring rolls.
It's quite a small restaurant, but we were made very welcome. The waiting staff are attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere was relaxed. The menu selections will not be any surprises to those familiar with Thai dishes, however the quality was of a high standard. We had a wide variety of dishes, from soup and noodles to rice and fish cakes. The seafood was excellent. The squid was not overcooked and rubbery, but was melt in the mouth with the subtle favours you would expect. Not small portions, with plenty of the meat supplied. Loads of chicken, and prawns for days. Really impressed for a Friday night and would happily return.
Really like it here. In the past I've managed to get food very close to that I've enjoyed in Thailand by simply asking that they cook as if they are at home rather than the westernised version we so often get. This time just a flying visit and a chance to introduce my aging mother to a different cuisine, so just went for standard lunchtime menu items. Service was good food too, no complaints. Will come again next time I am in the UK.
I got take away from here for the first time on the weekend and it was some of the best Thai food I've had in the UK. Really flavourful with a good amount of heat but still not overwhelming for someone with low spice tolerance really cute place with lovely staff. Will definitely return for dinner out soon!
This restaurant has now closed. Good food and good value. As well as the small number of tables at the front there is a large space at the back, so the restaurant can accommodate groups of all sizes. Warning, if you are sitting at the back of the restaurant you may need to bring a jumper. The food is spicy, as you'd expect from a Thai, but they can make any of the stir fry dishes to your taste.
Great Thai food, their express lunch is an absolute bargain and we've also had a takeaway. They make our children feel welcome and we all love the food even our 9 month old!. Recommend a visit!
Lovely little restaurant with a very affordable lunch menu and plenty of à la carte options. Thai Bite is one of my favourite local restaurants as it caters for vegans: corn fritters and pad Thai are my go to choice. Service is always friendly and prompt.
The food here is delicious, it's fairly priced and the service is fab. I recently visited with a friend of mine who is in a wheelchair and has several dietary needs, they couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. Looking forward to going back next week.
