Such a charismatic place. You have to look out for this modest fronted quirky entrance. Then up some old stairs, which open up into a large room that is perfect for the varied music evenings they host. When they have acts on it's a £5 entrance fee. Once you're in you have the most reasonable bar in Arnside. It's all run by sailing club volunteers, who are always ready with a kind word and a warm chat. It has a real old England charm. It's not swanky at all, and that's why I love it. It's not yuppified, it's not pretending to be something it's not. Its basic, warm and wonderful with truly amazing music nights.
Lovely place had a great night watching the Mizzen Crew singing sea shanties
Good venue, quirky, rustic, comfortable, real ales too!
Lovely old building. Fab views out to the Estuary . Friendly Club.
Brilliant little venue in the Seaside town they forgot to close. All run by volunteers
Reiver were excellent on 2nd October and the crowd enjoyed it tremendously.
Little gem of a venue with great acts
