1st time in this village and been here 2 days. Been everywhere but this pub. So we decided to go and it was like home from home. So welcoming and friendly and a nice log fire to make the pub warm. Can't fault this place at all!

No atmosphere, food expensive and tasteless. One choice for vegetarians if you don't like curry, and that was a very spicy Vege burger and a miniscule salad.

Excellent lunch and a great pint of real ale! Considering that it was New Year's Day and we had not booked, we were lucky to get a seat, and were not kept waiting long for our meal.

Overpriced drinks,a drunk fast asleep in the lounge no one asked him to leave,3 hours later young girl dragged him out!!had a meal Saturday nite served steak on a slate pepper sauce all over the table looked a mess!,waitress agreed should be on a proper plate,fish and chips next up chips very poor cold,chef must have missed that lesson at college, still I will try the Albion on my next visit,maybe new mangers mite sort out what could be a fantastic pub,tried the SHIP it was all as the Albion should be!.
