Visited Rising Sun for Sunday Lunch, I highly recommend. I had the roast beef and was amazing, tender and tasty. The food arrived piping hot and service was excellent. I could not fault any part, Yorkshire puddings, veg and gravy all cooked to perfection. Will definitely be back! Thank you!
A great place to unwind, enjoy some local hospitality and meet up with friends. The staff are great, the building and decor warm and inviting, and prices very reasonable. The food is delicious and great value, the weekday specials fab. I love my local. Thanks Rob and Vicky for doing a great job.
Love this pub!!! It's a great local friendly pub. We've been coming in here for years and we are always made to feel welcome. Vickie is a credit to rising sun and her Sunday lunches are amazing, so if you haven't tried them you should as you certainly won't be disappointed. Highly recommended.

As the family gatherd to celebrate our grandaughter christerning little to my knowledge till after the day the landlord was a bit of bully to our daughter most of the day my son in law whitness this too why on earth let a paying guess book certain area/room then complain they are using them is beyond me and been accused of having confettiie all over then also telling my daughter to clean up which had nothing to do with us due to a few children under 5 getting over excited and perhaps dropped a wrapper to think this place came recommend on the ground we could have a bouncy castle on cite we paid for everything on the understanding so long as we leave the place how we find it great we can do that the only recommendation is dont do it dont book it unless you have a thing for intimidating men /bullies

Had a wonderful evening at the Rising Sun. Fabulous atmosphere and friendly staff. Enjoyed my chat with the landlady Vicky whom I found very friendly and welcoming Certainly will be returning very soon. Thank you all .
Not an establishment that I would visit often as it's too far away and the occasion for this visit was too celebrate the life of my relative recently deceased. Other than our funeral party not many patrons were in the establishment but the glorious weather meant that many people could be outside. The bar staff, maybe the proprietor, were pleasant and efficient, helpful when they could be. Tables were provided for the food and overall for a sombre occasion it was an enjoyable time to catch up with the remaining relations. The place was clean and tidy throughout, and overall, despite the occasion the afternoon went well. Yes on this visit we enjoyed the place.
