This is a awesome place. Food is great, even if it is a little wait at times but that's only because one chef is cooking. Pizzas are to die for, so worth the wait! They have a lil master pizza chef called Alli and she makes pizzas that's worth your money, so cred to her during this heatwave! Reasonable prices on drinks and food. They have 6 pool tables and a good sized car park I've never had any problems with finding a spot. Some bar staff are real friendly.
Shadow of it's Former self. Now a dark Dingy Student bar. Does have an ok range of beers, nice staff. Overpriced if you don't have a Student ID.
Service was fantastic and quick. Drinks were poured correctly and decently priced. Very happy.
Both me and my partner stopped off for food and drink. It was the first time we visited. Loved the variety available. We enjoyed a few games of pool too. We both had burgers and they were lovely. Best we’ve had in a while. Would definitely recommend

I love Gardeners Arms! you have a choice of the front bar, back bar with large screen tvs and pool tables and the beer garden! The food is gorgeous and excellent value for money. They have a huge selection drinks and they have special offers on everyday. All the staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend The Gardeners Arms
Still gets very busy especially in the larger bar but good atmosphere.
Gards is the perfect place for any kind of occasion. It’s a student bar with a lot to offer, such as student deals, quiz nights, DJs, etc… The pub is not just for students, it caters for everyone. With a vast range of beers, spirits, cocktails and food, they have an option of everyone. Drinks are always presented well and taste amazing, and the food is incredible. From the tapas options to the mega mixed grill, the entire menu is prepared to the highest standard in a very short period of time. The bar staff are all lovely and willing to help you with anything you need.
Food was lovely, we had a mixture of your tapas. The attitude of one of your staff was appalling. Every time we approached the bar he rolled his eyes at us and spoke like he was above everybody else. He was quite short with a messy stubble if that helps.
I have to say not bad at all! Really surprised with the food, I was a little apprehensive with it being a studenty style bar. But the prices were great and the food was really tasty. Spicy tacos were fantastic!!! I was away in Hull for one evening on business and stopped by for food- staying at a nearby hotel. A couple of things I would do/improve the customer experience. Just have a food checkback, nobody came to see if my meal was okay etc... And then the second just make sure that the condiments are fully stocked, all of the ones on my table were either low or had run out. Good range on beers too and the new tapd in the middle looked very cool.
