Visited here for the first time yesterday. We were immediately met with very friendly service and menus. Throughout our visit the service was efficient, excellent and friendly.
We have experienced Sunday lunch throughout the UK and we both felt that this was by far the best we’ve had.
It was great value for money and well worth the visit. We will definitely be going back!

Only bad thing for me was sat at the bottom of the pun near the kitchen was unbearably hot and didn't look like a window could be opened. Not losing stars over it as he experience made up for it.. Food was amazing  staff friendly and helpful and the pub itself is very nice. Would recommend

Walked in without booking and were found a table straight away. Good service and the food was excellent. The steak and ale pie is to die for, unfortunately there wasn't any room for us to try desserts ;)

What a traditional country pub should be like!  Plus the food is excellent. First visit for dinner last night and we'll definitely be back 😀👍

Best steak and ale pie going pastry is so light and thin . Gravy is gorgeous plus and it's a. Big + the gravy is served SEPARATELY. Yay. The fried sweet potatoe chips are to die for. The staff are friendly and helpful . Good portion s too lovely pub.
