Great that there is now more space/tables!nHaving emailed ahead the Manager replied promptly to assure me that our largish party would be accommodated even though they don't take bookings which was good. We visited early Friday evening to celebrate my daughter's birthday and even though it was only 5pm it was already getting busy, however our table of 8 was seated quickly in the upstairs extended part. We had balloons and a cake with us, which was no problem. Sophie welcomed us and was really helpful with everything, sorting out the cake, nothing was too much trouble and we felt really looked after. We all enjoyed the great food and drinks and our service was so friendly and efficient. A really lovely experience after not visiting in quite a while, thank you to all
A fun place to go if you're visiting York. Stall holders are friendly and chatty .. obviously as they are trying to sell ..but it gives the market a friendly buzz, several food stalls but I didn't try anything.. All-in-all a pleasant way to pass some time .. lots of hats
As a regular visitor to DV8 we are always made to feel very welcome.nI had the chunky chips with chicken and bacon with BBQ sauce and goats cheese and my partner had the southern fried chicken burger, both were delicious and piping hotnThe staff are very professional and efficient and the place runs like clockwork, we would highly recommend for both food and drinks
A nice cozy place to have a few drinks and a tasty meal with friends and family.
