From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Every room is different and we were on the top floor.  The quality of the food was superb and the service was to match. Breakfast was also a joy to behold with a wide range on offer from the buffet with fresh fruit salad and through to the choice of cooked breakfast. 
The furniture was a mix of old (quality) and newer throughout the hotel. The car park was large enough for the numbers staying. 
Nothing was to much trouble for the staff and we look forward to making a return trip.

Just come back from having Christmas dinner at the Red Lion. Truly superb. Food was excellent and so was the service. The atmosphere was homely with a smile. I recommend the Red Lion at any time of the year for quality and I shall be booking for next christmas.

Absolutely wonderful stay. Fabulous breakfast lovely owner and room in excellent decor and comfort. Met on arrival and made to feel very welcome. Cannot find fault with anything. Also had family over for dinner and the food was exceptional along with the pleasant service. Well done Red Lion we will recommend and return one day.

Bargain eat as Much as you like. Strange had Yorkshire pudding and Gravy Inc in the breakfast.... Was in Yorkshire tho
