Great food eating here with my Great Aunt & Girlfriend. Second time I've visited, definitely be a third time. Heads up though you will need to bring your own alcohol as they don't serve it. More than happy with drinking Lemonade however. Not sure if this was down to religious beliefs or not having a drinks licence for alcohol. Never spoilt it for none of us.
Chicken Tikka Masala, mushroom rice and Cheese n garlic nan bread. We had 2 meals for £21. Partner had korma and I don't believe that's a curry lol Spot on meal, we've never had problems and will continue to go again
We ordered food from here last week & when we collected it the restaurant was packed & there was a slight delay in receiving our order, which was unacceptable as they were so busy. Well worth the wait! This is one of the best Indian meals we have ever had. We had 3 different dishes between 4 of us & there was still food leftover. Each dish was filled with meat & the flavours were fantastic. The Naan was cooked to perfection and the rice, 3 different types, was perfect. We will definitely be returning & trying the restaurant out.
Incredibly disappointed. Ordered 3 curries, two of which were half filled with oil. The chicken was pretty tough but ok. Rice was fine. The restaurant ended up giving us incorrect items also, so make sure to check before you leave the boxes even said the right thing Shame after reading all the positive reviews
Really delicious food at reasonable prices. We regularly get takeaway from the Balti House and we've never been disappointed. It's always fresh and absolutely perfect. We're really lucky to have such a great takeaway right on our doorstep.
Perfect in every way. A little hidden gem in Spilsby. Lovely food, clean and welcoming dining room. Courteous staff. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended 5*
There were only 2 members of staff, the owner, and a young, inexperienced lad, and it was Saturday night, and quite busy, as it's also a take-away. We arrived at 7pm and it was 7.40pm before we were given a menu, which we had to ask for ourselves, then another 20 minutes before we called for someone to take our order. After we placed our order, it was a further 30-40 minutes before we were served our food, which was actually delicious. 30 minutes after we finished our meal, we asked for a desert menu, which we waited another 20 minutes for, before getting fed up, and left without seeing one. Then paying for our meal was another farce, as the owner hadn't put the prices on the order form, so the young lad didn't know what he was doing, and even seemed to have difficulty using a calculator, so we gave him £20, and walked out. There were other people complaining about the long wait, and even told the owner that he should be looking after his restaurant customers, and not his take away customers, as the 'phone was constantly ringing, with people ordering take away. I have given 3 stars for the food, which deserved 5 stars, but had to deduct stars for poor service. We'll be getting take away in future, as we would get our food much quicker, even taking into account the fact that it's an 18 mile round trip for us.
We were in need for real food and not knowing the area i looked on Google Maps and found this placed tucked away up an alley. Glad we ventured into this restaurant the food was beautiful and the bill very fair. We found lots of things on the menu that we hadn't tried before and we were not disappointed with our choice. Because the food is freshly made to order there was a 30min or so wait so complimentary poppadoms were served, which was a nice touch. We noticed they are a busy take away too. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic! Whole herbs and spices used to make the curries, friendly staff and quick service, even on a busy night. Their Lamb Achari is highly recommended.
My cousin & I called in to this restaurant on the spur of the moment yesterday evening. Only being an occasional visitor to the town, I didn't realise this place actually existed. But I am so very pleased we found it. The food was delicious, fresh & very reasonably priced. The decor was beautifully done & nothing was too much trouble for the restaurant manager. I would definitely consider travelling with a group of friends from Skegness to Spilsby to eat here again. A+
