Myself and partner had a couple of lovely evenings here during a visit to Jackson Bridge for the weekend. A very cozy pub that made us feel welcome. We loved the beers and the nice conversations with the locals! We would certainly come back.
Love this pub! Always end up talking with interesting people. Tonight Ron visiting from Alice Springs and the wonderful musician Connor Joy. Great pint of Guinness. Live music with Ginger Greg. Fab evening.Rooms: 5/5
Nice atmosphere, cosy seating. Sadly they are currently not doing food but there is a wide range of drinks and they have bands on regularly.Service: 5/5
First ever Visit after traveling past many times. I was very surprised how small the place is! Great atmosphere though, very well decorated and good layout. We booked a large table which put us in a room at the back, I have mixed feelings about this as it was nice to have our own space, the kitchen entrance was in the same room so bustling traffic was coming through constantly and if the door was left open, it was freezing! Food was fantastic though, I had a parmy and although a little well done tasted amazing
Had a great evening tonight, much appreciated after a bad experience last month. Our party of 6 had a room of our own and we’re very well looked after with a complimentary meal and wine. The food was amazing, an interesting menu more diverse than usual pub grub and well prepared. We will return again and heartily recommend, thanks Greg and team x
Gorgeous little pub, the food was excellent and very generous size. I went with my husband, daughter and son in law and were greeted by very lovely staff. Would definitely go again.
Brilliant local pub. We secured a really cosy spot next to the fire, enjoyed a great range of beers and ate a delicious lunch! Food was really fantastic. Great choice for veggies and meat eaters alike. Friendly landlord.
Oh dear very poor. Having been here about 4 years ago, we were looking forward to returning as it used to be very friendly. Far from it this time. A very survey, pony tailed bar man ' greeted us ' with a "yeah" when we asked if they were serving food. We sat at out table and were ignored. I returned to the bar and asked if they had a menu. " Yeah over there" was his reply. He looked completely apathetic and miserable. We left.

On Saturday we came for a meal out courtesy of a meal voucher we’d received as a gift from our daughter in NZ. We don’t get out much … but had come for a meal before Xmas and realised then what a lovely gem of a local pub this is. Just wanted to say, ‘Thankyou’ again, for a lovely experience and unbelievably high quality food. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the whole pub has a real home/community feel to it. We had the best night out and walked home feeling really relaxed, well fed and happy. Looking forward to coming again.
