Very nice modern room, it had done traditional old beams, and features , the bed was a bit hard and only one flat pillow no good for side sleeping Breakfast was a bit of a disaster, we waited 45 mins and the other couple that attended breakfast waited over an hour there was us plus another couple in a very spacious dining area. All in all not a bad visit for the price and location.
Stayed here four times now, and each stay is as good as the first. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay for a fifth time.Rooms: 5/5

Location as described but room was average - waste bin not emptied, last occupants bill print-out left. Very creaky stairs up to shower with no marking to distinguish serious health and safety if accident occurred it was the same in elongated walk to our room with again another step with no marking. It should also be noted there is a lot of concrete stairs up to the rooms which would have helped had we known as my husband is semi-disabled. Late night private?? party in the bar till nearly 2am the only good thing was the breakfast. Won't be returning.
Lovely room in a beautiful building. Lovely, friendly helpful staff. Nice bar downstairs, great pub next door, and good breakfast. Good nights sleep in a comfy bedRooms: 5/5
The room was at the top of three flights of steep stairs and was extremely tiny with low beams over the bed and in the bathrooms so a cramped area. Even though we were the only guests this is the room we were given rather than one on a lower floor.Rooms: 1/5
Booked one night stay in May, paid in advance for family room including breakfast x 2. Upon enquiring about breakfast we were told it would be continental, upon actually trying to nail down what and where they then admitted there would be no breakfast at all. We asked for a refund for the breakfast element of our bill and we were told we would have to email in. When we returned home we realised that the Rooms at the Nook does not have an email address. What awful shoddy treatment. I would invite the owners to contact me to resolve this but I am not holding my breath. We just feel utterly ripped off.
Awesome place. Lovely village/town also. I planned on not drinking this week but couldn't help but try their lovely home-brewed ales. Would recommend. Rooms are done up to a great standard
This hotel in my opinion is the best in Holme Firth. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is very good. If available I would book the superior room as are slightly larger with a nice leather sofa.
Lovely night spent at this quirky b and b. Very central. Staff friendly and informative. Room at the top warm spacious and very clean. Food delicious. Hopefully not our only visit here.
