We have come to Millpond Cottage and Burnlee House for a fair few years now. And it's just dawned upon me that we have never really left and Internet review ! Kate and family are such awesome hosts and super nice people. The communication is fantastic and the whole process is layed back and easy. They make you feel so welcome. Both properties are charming, cosy and homely fitting in perfect with Holmfirth which is such a nice place. Everything is clean, well kitted out and comfy. Hosts and properties are real gems and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to stay here. We will continue to stay here for years to come.
Went here a couple of weeks ago with my family. The owner is very friendly and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for her. The property was excellent. Very cosy and overlooking a little stream. It was very child friendly also as our little one is into everything. The bed was comfy and we had all the facilities we could have needed including a dedicated parking space. Highly recommend you visit here. I’m sure we will be back as it’s rare you find the ultimate combination of great, accommodation, along with great location and ultra friendly helpful owner, at a very competitive price. 5 stars all day long.
Been here many times, we absolutely love it. Kate is a great host, and the cottage is absolutely fab. Great walks to do nearby and a wonderful pub a short walk away. Lovely to wake up to the ducks from the balcony in the lounge.
Lovely quaint little cottage perfect location and very sweetly decorated throughout. Everything you need for a break. If the weather allows the little balcony is an added bonus. Kate is very helpful and welcoming.
