There new make over is stunning, makes you feel right at home. The food was excellent and it's a must from me will definitely be going there.more offen.
Visit date: 14/08/2022 Came for a Sunday roast, first time I've been back here for 3 years. Nice venue and the staff were nice enough. Unfortunately I ordered bread and butter for a starter, that didn't come. For my main I ordered the lamb, I asked a waitress about what veg comes with it and she couldn't give me answer and didn't offer to ask sombody who would know. So when my main did arrive, the lamb, roasters and carrots were very nice, but unfortunately there was quite a bit of veg there I didn't like. If I knew about what veg was there I could have asked for that to be removed. The desert was very nice though and the one watier was very helpful, I let him know about the veg mix up and he apologised to me which I appreciated and also said he would send on my feedback. So overall it was alright not quite as good as the last time I came here, but not too bad.
Love this pub, I used to work here under the old management and can confirm that the new management is just as great. Really friendly service so you feel very welcome and the food arrived quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend and dogs are welcome too!
Oh if you want an absolutely lovely sunday dinner just like home cooked food this is the place to go. Couldn't fault anything. Gravy to die for. Cooked to perfection!! Also pub has had a lovely refurb beautiful surroundings. Shall definitely be visiting again soon.
The food is AMAZING! The best fish and chips I've ever had....huge thick fresh fish, freshly battered. And the lamb meatballs to start are sublime It puts other pub food to shame!
First visit since reopening, just had Sunday lunch, excellent meal, food was plentiful, hot, couldn’t fault anything, from starter to desert. Manager and staff very obliging, wonderful service, very efficient.
Only popped in for a quick pint but this really is a hidden gem of a pub. Great beer and lovely peaceful beer garden. Will soon be back to try the food
Had 5 great meals at The Red Cow the staff were all fantastic, over all good value for the money.
