Visiting during lunch time and I had set lunchtime menu. There is not a great deal of choice. I would have liked salmon as an option. Two staff members working and they were very busy, but extremely friendly and helpful.
First class service, tasty food , Banks beer and dog friendly. What’s not to love. Seriously though my wife’s steak came out well done despite ordering a medium rare, immediately replaced apologies etc very impressed. We shall return.
Excellent food and value for money too. Staff and customer service excellent in a clean and pleasant bar/restaurant Recommended visit for all they even have a dog barrel of water outside Ross table waiting knowledgable and advisable Very pleasant apart from swearing audible from other side of room
Booked a last minute meal tonight. All the staff and meals were fantastic. We came on steak night and it was the best steak we’ve had in long time. Thank you so much for bringing out the birthday cake we had bought along with us, and extra plates etc for it. Would highly recommend.
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Sunday lunch was a mixed review. Red cabbage was sweet which we didn’t feel worked, however that was a personal opinion. The carrots and parsnips were virtually raw. We did feedback and the staff were really good about it. Dessert was excellent. We’d go back due to the excellent staff and their approach.
Lovely, relaxed pub with good food and some fantastic deals. Benefitted from a 30% off main meals check their website for deals. Antipasti shared starter was tasty, and the mixed grill was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.
I took some friends to celebrate my birthday 80th. They had not been there before and like me and my wife were very impressed. The service was excellent and I must say the staff were very good and had a wonderful friendly attitude. But what really impressed us was the the quality of the food. We had different meals but we all agreed the quality and flavours for all meals was second to none. Highly recommended *****
We had a lovely meal - I had the duo of beef and chicken and my partner had the halloumi kebab, definitely recommend! - and excellent service from Naomi. She was very welcoming and attentive, the food was cooked beautifully. We will definitely come back!
Well presented & freshly prepared from a large menu. We were made to feel welcome by the staff who looked after us very well. There's a large car park & dogs are allowed.
I met here with 3 schoolmates for a reunion from 36 years ago. The staff were polite, friendly, good customer service. The food was tasty and the chef and team obviously know their stuff. One of the schoolmates remarked "always been a classy place". Perhaps that epitomises it....
