This place has Plenty of car parking space . Inside is comfortable and nice and tidy. There is a large drinks selection. The food menu is good and all at a reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We ate in there and the food was well presented and didn't take to long. It was very tasty Would definitely visit this place again.
Lovely food, beautiful location and very attentive staff. We will definitely be returning! Menu has a varied choice for everyone, just gutted we haven't visited sooner :
We arrived at 8pm on a Saturday evening without a booking, so we has to wait 30 minutes for a table as the pub was very busy. Once seated we order a sharing starter and loaded potato skins for starers and a mix grill each for main.. All the food was Cooked really well and the mixed grill had lots of meat choices. I did struggle to eat it all but all the meat was cooked exactly the way I like it Drink prices were very reasonable for the area. If I am in the area again I would definitely go for another meal here and try something different on the menu.
Really lovely country pub with great atmosphere. Lamb shank was tender and very tasty. Meat fell off the bone. Meals range from about £21 but are 'buy one get one free'. Paid £26 for two very good quality meals. Mint and onion gravy was so tasty. Will definitely go back
Very nice pub grub. Theres something for everyone here with a large selection of 2 for 1 dishes available. The portions are very good, the staff are very welcoming too.

Came here last night as a group of 6 4 adults, 2 children. Love the country pub feel and the pub felt very cosy and welcoming. Service was good throughout the evening and didn't have to wait long for the food. We ordered; Mega fox burger Steak sizzler Salmon sizzler 2 x chicken fajitas Homemade cottage pie Cheesy garlic bread Chocolate fudge cake Brownie Sunday All the food was amazing! Hot and fresh and good sized portions. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the 'two for one' menu prices. It's not 2 for 1 when the prices for 1 meal are so expensive. A lasagne is priced at £27! Yes, you get 2 meals for that price but I don't understand why they just don't have a normal priced menu. It also doesn't work well for some families. For example, my daughters are aged 4 and 11. My eldest is too old for a kids menu now so orders from the main menu. This is where the 2 for 1 doesn't work as my youngest has something from the kids menu. That means that one of us would be left paying extortionate prices for our meal as we wouldn't qualify for the 2 for 1. So we had to order an adults burger for my 4 year old so we didn't end up paying over £20 for a cottage pie and then having to pay for the kids meal on top! Luckily my daughter wanted a burger. If she had wanted nuggets, fishfingers etc we wouldn't have been able to make this work. Overall, we had a lovely time, but I really think the menu prices need revising to enable everyone to have value for money.
This is a family owned pub, and it really shows. The menu is extensive, and there’s a 2 for 1 menu. There’s excellent parking, and you can get a spot even when it’s busy. We booked for 12.30 and were warmly greeted and seated in the conservatory . We chose the beef lasagna , which included fries and garlic bread.The wait was around 20 minutes, and boy was it worth the wait , honestly it’ was the best lasagna we’d had in a long time! The bill was a very reasonable £26 quid with drinks . We’ve took our friends since. Highly Recommend
Absolutely banging food 100% 10/10 5 star food, this is now my favourite place to eat. I have been driving past this place for years, and one day I just decided to pop in. I had the stake, and it was the best steak I have ever tasted. The staff are wonderful and I couldn't have asked for better service. What an amazing experience.
Came lunch time with my dad on Tuesday. We both had the 3 course Xmas menu. Can't remember price think it was about £21 each. We were not disappointed.... the food was well cooked and plenty of it, first time I have never had to ask for extra gravy. Staff were always smiling and nothing was to much trouble for them. What a great team working there.
