Save your money and go elsewhere. Staff don't care how long you wait and they're rude when they eventually get around to getting to you. Worst of all is when your presented with the card machine to pay THERE'S NO price of sale on it so you don't know how much you're being charged and they don't provide receipts.Service: 1/5
I haven't stayed in any of the rooms before so can't comment on them but the bar is regular stop on a night out for many. Staff are friendly and drinks are reasonably priced with quick service. Music is loud for what you would usually find in a local pub. Has a dartboard and two pool tables although one of them is too close to the wall really. Toilets are down a long set of slightly uneven stone steps and the men's at least dosnt have a lock on the one toilet cubicle. Plenty of parking around the back although it's not private to the pub and the entrance is rather tight and easy to curb your wheels.
Best pub in St Austell. Good atmosphere, friendly locals, fair prices at the bar, good juke box and the best live music in town on Sunday evenings. What's not to like?
Queens Head, What can I say......well here goes...20 minutes b4 I asked in another pub if there where any other pubs!. Was answered well there is the Queen's head if you like Pol tables and yobos. So I finished my drink in the White Heart and had a few beers in the head. Sam the Manager I would call her as she was so professional served me my beer and was the best host I have experienced in many years. End of....
Honest local pub with an excellent pint of Doom Bar. Dog friendly, which is always a plus point. Interesting sort of gated dungeonette on the way to the loos! Go there!
Have couple of drinks and play pool luvly place I go there again
Absolutely brilliant and friendly place. Full of life and atmosphere shows bt sport for free and 2 pool tables and drinks are cheap
Great atmosphere ,two pool tables & a free jukebox on Monday night
