Great food and service. Beer was well kept. The little things won this place the 5*+ I went to change my son's nappy, promptly left the wipes at the table but when I got to the changing room instead of the normal cold hard table I found a table with a proper changing mat, some nappy bags and most importantly some wipes! I'm assuming they weren't left by another parent but it was a life saver

Absolutely fantastic food... I had pork cheeks on beetroot mash with treacle sauce, my partner had scallops on cauliflower puree. Didn't get a pic of our mains as we dove straight in! Then lemon posset with lighter than air shortbread and a sticky toffee pudding with Cornish ice cream! Amazing Tarquins gin (strawberry and lime flavour) could have drank it all night! Definitely best meal and evening out in Cornwall. Staff all so friendly, such a lovely atmosphere and building. Made up we found it!

Used to go here all the time as the food was amazing and the staff are friendly HOWEVER foods gone downhill and I've had flies in my salad.. such a shame as it was my favourite place.. :( The tiramisu had an awful taste to it and the toffee sponge pudding was cold. :(

I went there twice. First time food was amazing, but second time same dishes were completely different. Bit disappointed. Welcoming staff. So it's hard to send back order. Not going again
