Really lovely staff, cook late on Sunday which is very nice. Crazy fast service. The lamb roast was really tasty. They don't skimp on the veg (though it might be partially microwaved). Large portions, good prices. Not much more you can ask for in London.

Proper old school local with cheap beer and lovely owners. Well worth a visit if you like your pubs friendly.

🚇 Elephant & Castle 🍺 £3.80 Carlsberg 🐟🍟 £9.95 🍔🍟 £8.95 ❤️ A down to earth good old fashioned boozer in Elephant and Castle. There are two bars here, one at the front which has a pool table and one at the rear both of which have TV’s. I got a warm welcome from Tom the landlord who let me know there were serving food and what was popular with the locals which was a nice touch, I did end up eating a ciabatta which was top notch. The pub was reasonably busy with locals and had a wake on that day and the atmosphere was nice all considered. I really enjoyed this boozer as it’s as honest as it gets with great service, good food and drink and has a nice feel about the place. . 📊 Information correct on visiting 20/02/18
