I hired the conservatory for my baby's 1st birthday and I couldn't recommend it enough. All the staff were so helpful, they provided hot water and cups all day with no issues. It was the perfect size for a small family gathering. I was able to use my catering for a small corkage fee. All my family enjoyed the venue. 10/10
Feels incredible to be back at the cinema. Very well organised, beautiful cinema on the high street in East Dulwich, a brilliant vibrant area in SE and a must go area if not been already. The cinema itself didn't disappoint, all picturehouses we have been to have been great to be fair. What we liked most about this one was the set up, the feel as you walk in and what we love about these cinemas you feel like your going into a cinema theatre and looking forward to the experience. Choice of drinks was ace and popcorn was lovely! The film we saw was 'The father' wow a solid film, highly recommend. We give it A***** LDT x
Excellent cinema, feels like an independent, your staff are amazing, all ready to chat about film in geek fashion which i love and really friendly. Great selection of films and live streamings as well as director q&a's. Food and drink also excellent. Good coffee too!
Fantastic cinema with a lovely cafe, fantastic screens and attentive, knowledgeable staff. The beautifully curated selection of feature films and theatre recordings guarantee that you will want to revisit regularly
Recently saw Avatar: The Way of Water at the East Dulwich Picturehouse with my wife. This cinema is generally great e.g. food/drink selection, welcoming staff, mix of blockbuster and lesser known movies, comfy seats except for the prices, which are eye wateringly expensive when you consider the nearby Peckhamplex still sells tickets for a fiver… In fact we wouldn’t mind paying top dollar if it wasn’t for the bad quality screens. Screen 1 needs a serious upgrade and the picture is washed out and fuzzy in its current state, to the point where it is detrimental to the enjoyment of the film. A screen upgrade and better value tickets would lead to a 5 star rating. If you want the cosy and friendly atmosphere of a Picturehouse cinema, we would recommend going to the one in West Norwood instead, until East Dulwich is upgraded.
Lovely seats and great staff. Did not use the cafe as the menu was a bit limited...no glutenfree edibles at the time.
I had never been to a cinema like that before. It felt very cosy, like I was at home. It’s a bit pricey but I suppose every cinema is.
Nice cinema comfy seats. Nice if limited menu and nope very good movie.
GORGEOUS cinema. Very reasonable prices with lovely staff. Great to get a double seat with my daugher to snuggle with!
As a member I get a % off but what I love most is being able to go in and watch a film pre noon
