Awesome little neighbourhood boozer in the heart of De Beauvoir. Crisp selection is on point, darts , board games, show the football at the weekends and have Stone & Wood on tap. Plus there’s a nice little outdoor space. Good crowd of regulars too.
Do you want the Britishs' Sunday roast at a local pub? We enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service.
Came here for a Sunday roast. I had the vegetarian mushroom wellington and my partner had the lamb. We both enjoyed our meals and the overall vibe. The weather was really nice so we were able to comfortably eat in the garden. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. It's nice to find a good veg Sunday roast that isn't boring. I believe there was a vegan roast as well. Friendly staff as well and solid beer selection - even had multiple non-alcoholic beer options.
I had the pork Sunday roast and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert.nAll in all, the roast was okay. Unfortunately, it's a little bland for my taste. A little salt and pepper helped a long way. What I couldn’t change was the temperature. Upon arrival, my plate was quite cold. I saw the steam coming from my food, so surely the food wouldn’t be cold. The meat and some veggies were warm, but the whole dish quickly became cold. The potatoes were cold and dry, too.nI wholeheartedly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. It was very delicious and not too sweet. The plate and the dessert were pleasantly warm.nThe service was fantastic, all around a pleasant crew.
One of our favourite Sunday roasts! Pub was very busy and bustling. Wait time was a bit long but the staff were very nice and everyone was helpful. The Sunday roast was delicious and very filling. We will be back for sure. Thank you for great service!
