Didn't enjoy my experience. Dinner for two =£250 but only ate one course. Bread was cooked at high temperature for 90 minutes. Result was that it was burnt. Homemade butter was beautiful. Venison came with some putrid cream that neither of us could stomach. I'm one of the biggest chocolate fans on the planet but my chocolate pudding was exceptionally bitter and inedible. If McDonald's was open on the way home I'd have stopped by there as I left hungry and extremely disappointed. Whilst my score isn't in keeping with the majority I'm really sorry to say I would fancy myself to make less of a hash of the ingredients than this kitchen. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is comfortable but the food is poor and the menu small and limited. We were given a menu as a souvenir. I'm trying to forget this experience.

Went for a set course lunch which was great value! Food was awesome (highly recommend the pork dish). My wife was pregnant at the time and we found them highly accommodating and flexible to their menu. Great staff with a welcoming atmosphere - will definitely be returning!

Went for dinner. Food was fabulous, really creative dishes at reasonable prices. Excellent wine pairings; the waiters really know their stuff. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience again. Second time of visiting here and again it was great. The staff are fantastic, very attentive but not hovering over you. The food is great, nice twists and cooked perfectly. You really couldn't wish for anything more. A genuinely superb dining experience, well worthy of its accolades and I'm sure there will be more to go on the shelves! Already promised the family next time we come to Cornwall we'll be returning.

Our son 'treated' my husband and I to a meal here for our Golden wedding anniversary and what an incredible meal we had! Every mouthful was an adventure in exquisite taste. The food was truly amazing and the attention lavished on us by the staff was unbelievable! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening - we will definitely return.
