A beautiful house with 2 bedrooms.. A downstairs toilet. An upstairs bathroom with a bath and shower. An log burner in the lounge. 3 floor layout. Bigger than looks from the outside.. Quite far away from the centre of town and quite a considerable walk. Would suggest driving ! Parking is on the road outside. Plenty of walks nearby, and the 2 nearer reservoirs are within walking distance. No rear garden. The outside area is at the front of the property which isn't totally secure. The host is friendly and helpful. Yes we would visit again.
We loved this place. It was so comfy and homely and so much character with the beams, stove, lovely exposed stone walls and the hidden gem on the top floor. The bathroom was stunning and the views outside were spectacular. It felt like a proper home from home for us and we were reluctant to leave. The bed was so comfy too. The owner Kate was lovely and so friendly and helpful. It is ideally placed for lots of lovely walks and there is a pub within 5 minutes walk down a hill. And another one a further 5 minutes on.
Absolutely beautiful cottage! The owner Kate has presented a wonderfully charming property to stay at and she is very welcoming to people coming to stay. The cottage is a great location, we were attending a wedding nearby but it is walking distance to The Pickled Pheasant. Coming up for another wedding next summer, hopefully we can stay again.

Stunning place , gorgeous decor , views to die for ! It even has its own library ! Lovely area to stay with great walking, cycle routes and the beautiful arty village of Holmfirth within walking distance.
