Overall a wonderful dinner experience - wonderful food, great hosts, superb value.

We arrived to the lovely house and were invited into the lounge for a drink before our dinner. The dinner menu was simple but excellent even for us being vegetarian. Beautifully presented and tasty food. The wine was excellent - local and award winning. The dessert was a perfect end to the meal.

We love this peaceful hotel with excellent restaurant.  We have stayed here several times and always receive a warm welcome from the hosts, Chris and Sally.  The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet, the restaurant gourmet and in the summer there is a lovely swimming pool.  We often find that we don't sleep well when in a hotel and away from home but we always get a good night's sleep at The Old Rectory.

Top food and friendly and welcoming. A first class place. The pool looked inviting but I forgot my trunks.
