Afternoon tea - just a pot of tea and a cake - was pleasant; the tables not too crowded, service reasonably fast. Some delay paying the bill. The garden is gorgeous.

If you ever want to take a girl to a great place for tea or coffee, this is the place for it. The garden is magical and there are always some exhibitions for conversation starter. 🌞

Wonderful step back in time. In the nicest possible way this restaurant is in a time warp. In my expeience this lovely place has hardly changed in the last 20 years and I hope that this continues. If you can get a booking go its first class.
