Quite nice quirky tea room, both of furnishings and the knick knacks around the place gave it a nice feeling. We didn't have to wait for a table but I gather in summer the queues can get quite long. Serving staff were friendly and efficient. We had tea and cakes both of which were delicious. We would have given it five stars, the only let down was that the table we had was too small even for two people. The price that we paid was reasonable given the quality of the food and service.

Arrived in a party of six, to a very busy tearoom the day before mothers day....and one of us had to go back to work after lunch. All the staff were really helpful and inventive in making sure we were all catered for and (eventually) sitting together. All the while keeping everything very relaxed. The light lunches we had were lovely and the teas and cakes were brilliant.

Always friendly efficient service. Lovely welcome even when really busy which is most of the time! Teas are amazing, cakes delicious and lunches all that you could wish for. Our favourite tea room

Lovely lunch and great service. Almost too many teas to choose from! Always love coming here and the garden is beautiful in summer.

Wonderfully decorated, spacious and welcoming. The selection of teas is very good. They are brewed and served correctly and the crockery is lovely. Cakes and sandwiches also on point. I really can't find any fault with this place. Felt very welcome and will visit again when I'm in Ely next time.
