My partner and I had a very enjoyable experience at Grand Central this evening. It wasn't too busy for a Friday and the staff were attentive. We both had eyes bigger than our bellies and ordered a shared starter along with our mains, which were well portioned although marginally overpriced in comparison to some competitors. The atmosphere is fairly informal and the decor attempts to capture the American Diner vibe. It's very relaxed and we had a great time. The location of the restaurant is great, is easily accessible from the train station and has some great views by the river. I would recommend a visit.

The food was superb, hot, tasty and worth every penny. The staff were all friendly and acted like they wanted to be there. Only downside was the decaf coffee which was from a jar. I was told it was instant but still ok. This didn't however take away the exceptionally great time we had.

Amazing food, never disappoints when looking for American style food. Nice costumer service, very quick and facilities are very appealing to the eye and comfortable !

Food was ok starter was narchos most of them burnt super crispy . Steaks ok but salad on side looked life less just a small hand full out of bag this was leaves only was not fresh at all . Desserts were all very nice . Service poor or in the words of my mother in law PANTS ! My teenage daughter burger meal was stuck to the paper liner it was served on . When their is numerous our similar Resurants in the area now I feel that they need to up their game if they are to survive. Felt that also the cost of meal was not value for money I don’t think we will return which is a shame . Mr Neil Brown Ely resident

Overpriced for what it is. Location is great and while the kids enjoyed their food the kids menu is somewhat limited. I had the burger which was Ok but pricey considering the quality. It was quiet when we went but service was still slow and in the end we gave up waiting for someone to let us pay and just left money on the table.
