Great place to sit and watch the world go by. The drinks are a little pricey, I'd of given 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive. The food is good, the service is good, the pub is nice and clean, there's also a sit in restaurant too. The food prices are reasonable.
Visited the Cutter Inn for a roast dinner. Have been several times to the cutter inn. Busy as usual and staff serving as promptly as possible given how busy it was. Friendly and helpful staff. Roast dinner was OK, not the best I have had. For the price I felt the roast potatoes were perhaps a bit dry and not very tasty. The roast beef was lovely. Portion of the whole meal on the smaller side then the typical roast I have had but was filling enough. It was also a bit tight for space around the tables once the the resturant had filled up for lunchtime. They had closed one area for reservations. Four stars as I have always had good and friendly service from staff even when busy and had previous meals that were lovely, I do feel the roast is not on par with others in the area for the price. Good range of desserts with vegan options. Dietary restrictions: Some vegan/ dairy free options avaliable, including dessert.
Lovely restaurant with nice views over the River Great Ouse. Service was excellent and the food came quickly. Good choice of food and our steaks were very nice. I had sherry trifle cheesecake which was different and tasty.
Good parking. Nice place by the River Ouse. Big dining area with good selection of beers and ales on tap and a a reasonable selection of easy drinking wines. No table service but food service was good. The fish fingers, beer battered cod and chips were all good. The falafel and hummus were dry. The roast beef was dry as well. Parking: Ample parking Wheelchair accessibility: Reasonable access.
Cannot be many pubs in such a beautiful location. Lazing on a sunny afternoon look up The Kinks. Luckily it is a real ale bar with three beers. I went for the Milton brewery Pegasus at 4.1%. Excellent. Ely is a gem of a place to visit for real ale, history and views.
Great location, lovely efficient staff, ample parking and, whilst not cheap, the food was good, delivered hot to our table and portions were generous. Six of us met for a Sunday family roast and all left full and smiling for about £30 per person, including some drinks and a tip..thanks for that, well definitely visit again.
Recently tarted up, and food looks good, also huge portions, these were just the starters. It's a 3 as the drinks are quite expensive, £2 for a lime and soda, not even a pint but a thimble of a glass, like seriously...cordial and water
Absolutely cracking little place in Ely, food was awesome, drinks were modestly priced and the view of the river was spectacular. Awesome little place to start or end a day trip in Ely
Lovely pub with Riverside views. Really good food and very efficient staff. Dogs welcome. Good range of beer and ale on draft
Me and my partner went here for a few drinks today, they sell Peroni on tap which I struggle to find these days. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Although we didn't have food, we saw many plates come past us and it all looked incredible, plus the couples either side of us kept mentioning how nice their food was. Beautiful location with a lovely outdoor seating area, will 100% be back.
