I can't believe Bill was with us last time with my sons. One has gone and the other two have grown up and left the nest. The Nugget is a family favorite with everyone local. Very money friendly. Good old fashioned pub with a menu to suit all. Surf and Turf tonight. Bring it on. Bring the children, set the oldman up with a pint. Oh yeah, kids eat for a £, very good!
Service and food is always great. Katie was very attentive from he moment we sat down, before so even as she cleaned the table for us. Food was hot on arrival and whole team really friendly. We come once a month on average and have brought family and friends as well. The interior could possibly do with a little make over so the looks matched the standard of service and food but other than that we enjoy coming. The general manager who works the bar and brings the drinks is great. Always very friendly and accommodating of any request.
We went on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. The place is nice, the service was really friendly and quite good for a pub . Food............ No! I just woke up and, as we went yesterday, I am feeling sick! the atmosphere was nice though... I would go back for a beer or a glass of wine before going somewhere else for dinner
Came with my grandchildren , service on entry was very quick at the bar, happy bar staff, quite rare at the moment, straight to a table, so we could order food. Food came quick, which is fab when the kids are hungry. Met a chap call Charlie, who was very attentive to me and all other dinners. It was our first visit to The Nugget. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The service given by both Taren and Mandy was incredible and completely faultless. The food was tasty and hot, we were so impressed we booked for Mother’s Day evening too. Kid-friendliness: Excellent children’s menu and we were given children’s cutlery
I'm not one for pubs and I'm really fussy when it comes to food... But I can honestly say.. I really enjoyed my night with good company in a pub with a lively atmosphere... And the food was very reasonably priced and delicious... I really really enjoyed it... We came across this place a couple of weeks ago driving round looking for breakfast one Sunday morning we had stayed overnight in Coventry due to work The Nugget is clean, well presented, welcoming and friendly. We ordered a large breakfast each which arrived promptly and tasted delicious. We were so impressed by the food, price and overall service we returned the following Sunday as we'd stayed in Coventry again for breakfast before our journey back home to Hull Kid-friendliness: Children are welcome here Parking: Free parking, space at the front and more parking round the back
Same as before. Excellent pub with a great manager Charlie and great friendly staff. Service is excellent. Can't fault the place. Had food before Christmas and it was good.
Wrong food size mixed grill came out and on one steak was suppose to be medium but was blue, so overall experience was shocking. Staff very friendly and really accommodating tho, free dessert for all the issues with the main
Enjoyed an evening with the girls here...enjoyed a few cocktails...2 for £8...and food...definitely recommend the pork belly sizzler...Good value, and was tasty...Food: 5/5
