"The Old Shepherd in Coventry is a welcoming local pub with Sky Sports, a lovely big beer garden, and a nice kids’ play area. We’re on Keresley Road, just a couple of miles from Coventry town centre. We do great value pub food and amazing drinks deals every day of the week. Pop in on your way home from work or a hard day’s shopping. Pick the kids up from school and give them a teatime treat. Meet a mate on Tuesday and get two drinks for £5. Bring your other half in for grill night; we do a cracking steak. When Friday rolls round it’s party time! Round up the gang and get the drinks in. Nice place, clean and tidy, staff were pleasant. Beer was good. Nice beer patio at the front of the premises. Bit if a sun trap. Had to sample another beer to make sure. I enjoyed my visit.
ALWAYS really good food, lovely cosy friendly environment and lovely environment for children which is hard to find. Community/local feel but very welcoming to new comers. Zero tolerance on drugs or inappropriate behaviour. My daughter especially loves the lovely outdoor facilities with a play area and nice clean kept garden and most importantly enclosed with an open feel. I love that it is so local. They have an excellent bar team and management. Cannot praise enough.
Food was amazing as always, the staff were all polite and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be going again. Thank you! Kyle was a very happy member of staff who made us feel very welcome. Charlotte went that extra mile for my daughter and we can't thank her enough.

Recently went to the old shepherd for a change as used to frequently use in my younger days. The place was completely different. Nice warm bar staff if I can recall the bar staff gave excellent service .What made my experience was Charlotte who ran the whole team on the day I was in. We decided to make a day of it & have some food . Excellent service & quality, couldn't ask for anything more. Used the establishment quite a lot since. Because can't knock perfection. Charlotte & the whole team are always there
First time experience here as my grand daughter works here. Great service and hospitality from Charlotte she was outstanding. Food was amazing, came out quickly considering it was busy will definitely come again.
I just want to share with all of how my experience went of visiting the Old Shepherd. Charlotte the Manager was the best host I've ever come across and will 100% will be returning. Fantastic food, beer and staff. We'll done Charlotte.
lovely, just lovely. everything about it. excellent pint, fantastic crisps and the atmosphere was beautiful. my server, morgan was really kind and really fast. he did ask me to follow him on tiktok @skinny.legs5, but he deserved a follow after his hard work
Had lovely night there last night, food was really good so was the service, also had disco and boxing on big screens. Lady that served us was Charlotte who was fantastic and couldn't do enough for us all .Well done
Had nice day there the other day, some good food and a nice variety of non-alcoholic beverages, the person at the bar, his name was morgan or something and he had really bright hair and a brighter personality. It's a nice place to sit down and have a meal and drink, it's a shame it was raining though.
