Can't say enough about this place. We ate there approx. 4 times during a 12 days trip in November. One of which was for Sunday Roast which was perfection. Get there early on a Sunday like before 1:30 pm if you plan to have the traditional Sunday meal. They do Open Table reservations which make it simple even if you're 10 minutes away. We hit them up on a Tuesday for burger night where my husband had a Chorizo and Prawn burger while I had a traditional beef burger with bacon and cheddar. Both were quite good. We also enjoyed their Fish and Chips several times. The pub house beer a Cask I believe was excellent, give it a try. Good prices, reminder that you don't get shoved out the door like American restaurants, you can take your time and enjoy the ambience.
I understand that £6.50 for a pint is expected, due to its location. But for that price I would expect a little better. The whole place smells like a toilet, the female toilets were messy and hadn’t been checked the whole time I was there and my partner was also given a dirty glass. The staff were lovely though
Its gone downhill. Firstly its not clean at all tables always full of dust and dirt, as soon as we entered we smelt a musky smell. What has happened to this place? Who is the manager? Really really needs a good clean. Food also arrived cold. This place always seems empty for food, we Wont be coming back here.
Very British restaurant, cosy atmosphere, good service. Enjoyed traditional fish and chips and chicken, ham and leek pie, white bait with tartar sauce as starters, and duck confit

Dreadful visit from start to finish. Draughty and cold, apathetic staff, dank smell emanating from the cellar, dirty toilets, dirty glasses, greasy food and running low on cocktail ingredients. We had high hopes however we left very disappointed.
Showed up around 2:15 PM. Place was empty, had a burger and fries good stuff and the bar keep offered me a couple splashes/suggestions to find a beer to my suiting. Off the beaten path, but a great spot.
Lovely atmosphere and a pretty nice pub. The food was good, we all got burgers and were fairly impressed. The chips were really the star of the show, the triple cooked fries were mostly roast potatoes and the cheesy truffle fries were really tasty with a proper cheese used on top not rubbish cheese that tastes of nothing!. Definitely enjoyable for a quick lunch.
Traditional pub, cute small outside area. I believe they also have a restaurant section but we did not eat here. Great friendly staff.
Hidden in Chelsea is this Gastro pub. Very clean, friendly stuff, small but appropriate wine list and very very good food! Extremely happy eating there on the last day of my trip. Kids friendly too! An absolute must.
