One of the better 'Spoons' we've been in. We didn't have any food, just a few beers and a couple of cocktails at the usual low Spoons prices. Directly accessible from Lime Street Station within the same building as the adjacent Radisson Red hotel and within spitting distance of the Liverpool Empire Theatre, it's an ideal and convenient drinking hole. A mezzanine floor gives extra dinning/table space in the high ceiling room accessed by a narrow stairwell where in typical Spoons fashion, the gents loos are! The ladies are downstairs in the cellar Good service from the bar staff. Overall a good experience.
My local wethespoons and one of my favourite places to go! The food is always super nice, even if the wait can be quite lengthy. It's very convenient if you just got back in the city and arrived at Liverpool lime street OR if you're waiting for your train/your train got delayed. The staff is always nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is always pretty good as it's a beautiful building.
Really lovely pub. There is plenty of seating, spread between different sections. It is connected to Liverpool Lime Street Station which is very convenient. You can enter from the train station no stairs or street level which has stairs to climb. Friendly staff. Good food. Good drink. Reasonable prices. Ordering from the app is very convenient. Restrooms are inside the pub or you can use the ones just outside the door in the station itself.
Very busy Wetherspoons, Nice setting depending where you sit. Although we had to clean our own tables as we do in most Wetherspoons.Food: 5/5
No hot chocolate, no sugar, no decaff coffee. Staff are very dismissive and couldn't find a smidge of mayo in the place. Wheelchair accessibility: Not suitable
The food here was pretty poor, even by wetherspoon's standard. They even managed to burn the burger bun. On the plus side, the staff were great and we didn't have to wait long to be served, but I really wish I'd gone elsewhereFood: 1/5
Service was good and staff polite. Just could have done with a couple more. Atmosphere good. Big crowd, friendly. Good was grand an value for money.Food: 4/5
We visited The North Western Liverpool on 7 July. I am a wheelchair user and the pub was busy, one girl server went above and beyond to help us get a table, guided us to that table and assisted us with access to facilities. Nothing seemed to be too much and she was very helpful more than we anticipated, great service and all done very friendly and with a smile. This girl could teacher others how to deliver great service, what a great person, just wish I knew her name. Well done and thank you.
Called in for a quick meal with my wife and son in October 2023, before heading to the Empire which is helpfully next door! It was extremely busy and we got the only free table. Despite this the table was wiped down and the crockery/ glasses from the previous diners was cleared quickly, by a member of the team who was clearly very bust but made time for a smile. We ordered on the app which was very easy and the food arrived very quickly. Menu was as you’d expect from a Wetherspoons, and I went for the ‘three plates for £14.93’ offer – two pizzas and a chips – and each was good in terms of size and flavour. Would recommend, and would visit again if needed a quick bite.
I stayed in Liverpool for 6 days and my hotel was close to this location. The hotel staff recommended this place because I asked for something cheap and not too far. I really enjoyed my dinner and especially my breakfast! Absolutely recommendedFood: 5/5
